Shift Left Through Play: Rethinking Security Culture with Developers

Join us at the Leeds Digital Festival, the UK’s largest celebration of technology and digital culture, for an interactive, game-based dive into threat modelling. In this live virtual workshop, we’ll play the Elevation of Privilege card game, created by security expert Adam Shostack, to show how tackling security early can reveal vulnerabilities before a single line of code is written. It’s a creative, engaging process that sparks insights no automated tool can match.

Play to Secure: Exploring AI Security Through Games - LDF2025 event

This is our second session at the Leeds Digital Festival, where we’ll be running the Elevation of Machine Learning Security (MLSEC) game, created by security champion Elias Brattli Sørensen, right in the heart of Leeds. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll work through how AI systems can fail across product design, coding, and testing. You’ll leave with sharper insights into AI risks, and your own MLSEC card deck to keep the conversation going with your team.
